The Church of San Giovanni dei Fiori Oristano is a charming country church located on the south-western outskirts of the city, in an unspoiled and well-groomed corner of the Farm of the Peasants, which preserves its traditions and decor.

Formerly also called the Church of San Giovanni di Fiori Oristano, it is presumed to have been built around 1300. Today it is opened in June at the feast of St. John the Baptist and in February at the Sartiglia of Oristano.

Feature of this little church is a recent discovery made during the restoration, where a fresco depicting a curious black angel with a sword in one hand and a palm of the other was found.
