Siris, about 40 km south-east of Oristano, finds its origins in the Prenuragic and Nuraghic times, established by the presence in the area by numerous domus de janas and nuraghi.

In the village on January 20th, San Sebastiano is celebrated, patron saint of Siris, with a population of about 150 inhabitants and is located near the Rio Bennas, which allows agriculture and breeding flourishing in the territory.
