The Church of Sacro Cuore Oristano is also a recent construction church but not least historical or fascinating compared to other churches in the city.

The construction of the Church of Sacro Cuore Oristano began in 1957 and in just two years it was completed and was inaugurated with a great parish festival.

The structure of the Church has rectangular base and small aisles with side windows. The exterior is in basalt stone. The main altar is enriched by a shovel by Antonio Mura, a well-known engraver and Catholic painter who also worked in various churches in Sardinia.
